科学家揭示大质量恒星形成区内部气体吸积全尺度过程
The reporter learned from the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory of China Academy of Sciences that recently, the research team led by the observatory relied on the Atacama Large Millimeter/Submillimeter Wave Array Telescope (ALMA) and combined with astrometric observations from the Very Large Array Radio Telescope (VLA) to successfully reveal the complete process of gas flowing from large scales to small scales in massive star-forming regions. Relevant research results were published in the international academic journal Science Advances on September 18, Beijing time.
记者从中国科学院上海天文台获悉，近日，该天文台主导的研究团队依托阿塔卡马大型毫米/亚毫米波阵列望远镜（ALMA），并结合甚大阵射电望远镜（VLA）的天体测量观测，成功揭示了大质量恒星形成区中气体从大尺度流向小尺度的完整过程。相关研究成果北京时间9月18日在国际学术期刊《科学进展》（Science Advances）发表。
